Snow, Mud, Cyclocross

Well, yesterday’s race was a good one. It was snowy, wet, cold and muddy: perfect weather for cyclocross racing. The course was super fun with a good mix of twisty singletrack, off camber sections and straight flat sections where you could open it up and haul ass. I arrived to the start a bit late and was not on my bike when the whistle blew (quite the professional, huh?) so i was immediately off the back, which was ok because I can always use more practice passing. I ended up 5th, Dusty had a good race and finished 3rd (i was catching him…).
Had to include this picture of Ben from this morning when he came over to do laundry. Yup, that’s my coach.
