Toulouse

We woke up early this morning to pack the van and get to Toulouse early so the guys could drop us of and head to Paris. It was slow going, but after a few cappuccinos (for Waldek) we had managed to pack our little van to the brim with all our gear. The drive to Toulouse was pretty quick and painless (only 2 hours or so), and the guys figured they had enough time to do a little spin with us.

The hotel we are staying at is very close to the airport in kind of an industrial area, but we just wanted to do an easy spin so we started riding out one of the roads. We ended up randomly finding some fun little trails by a river- so we got to ride a little dirt before packing our bikes in the van and bidding them farewell until Tuesday (the guys are driving them up to Fort William).

Glad we got in that little ride because it’s pretty much pouring here right now. There’s a movie theatre within walking distance so I might have to go watch Indiana Jones if it’s crappy out tomorrow (or even if it’s not…).
