1 week at home, then Korea

After a month of being back east I had about a week at home before I headed over to Korea and then to China. Of course, the day after I got home I got a head cold which was a bummer. Better than getting sick in China I suppose, but still not ideal for my preparation. It was great to be home though, even if it was only for a few days.
The trip to Korea was long but uneventful. We are staying in condos in a quiet area only a short bike ride to the beach. The central part of the island is more mountainous, and a volcanic crater is the highest point on the island- I think there are some trails in that area too. It’s been very hot and humid- good preparation for what’s to come in Beijing.
