Findings.
The “Findings” page in Harper’s Magazine is always full of interesting information. Thought I’d share some of my favorite tidbits from the most recent issue.
-Spiders have more legs than they need
-Taranchulas leave behind footprints of silk
-A new species of “devil” worms was found living 2.2 miles under the Earth’s surface
-Great whites are calmed by AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long”
-Babies learn language not through habituation, but in epiphanies
-Young Americans feel empowered by financial debt
really I feel empowered by being out of debt, but at 43 I'm probably not considered "young" anymore. :)
How would WE know how many legs a spider needs?_Silk? That's pretty plush_ALL Great Whites?? Or the one in the pool that they have been studying?_Babies! Who knows! Everything is a damn epiphanie for a baby!!_Debt. it IS american!_Love you George, just looking for a new carreer myself and thinking research may be it! (": _
