Beat Down

Yes, I am officially completely beat down. After a hard brick of training I am certainly looking forward to a couple of easy days.

We had a really nice ride today. Ben and Brett and I got in some more MTB riding at Blue Sky, Devil’s Backbone and Bobcat Ridge. It has been so nice to be finally able to ride my mountain bike (since I haven’t really been on it since November). In January I spent a lot of time checking the weather in places like Tucson, and I thought about maybe trying to go somewhere warm to get some time in on trails, but now I am perfectly happy to stay here (at least until we get another big snowstorm — then I’m out of here… hahaha). I feel so lucky to live in a place with such great MTB and road riding (although Dusty would say “luck has nothing to do with it, you CHOSE to live here!”) but I feel lucky anyway.

Do you have a question you're dying to have answered about racing, training or food and cooking? Send it to me and I'll try to answer it on my blog.
