And Now For Something Completely Different…
This fall I enrolled in a professional cooking program at the Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder. It’s a 15 week program with classes 3 days a week for 5 hours a day. I am really excited to be learning all the classic foundations of cooking (as I am largely self- and Mom-taught), and I am hoping that I’ll be able to be even more creative with my cooking by the end of the program. It will also be nice to have something else going on this winter after ‘cross season is over. It’s a bit of a commute, but I think it will be worth it. Classes started on Monday, and if the first two days are any indication, it’s going to be a delicious 15 weeks.
Sometimes you’ve got to have a hobby- Ben suggested Harry Potter books, but cooking school works for me…
