Tandoori Chicken on the Grill
You can probably get away with marinating for a shorter time, but this sure was good (just don’t tell Dusty that I put cumin in it…):
Marinade
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp plus 2 tsp fresh minced or grated ginger
- 1 tbsp plus 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1.5 tsp ground turmeric
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 3 chicken breasts/legs
- toss chicken in a bowl with marinade
- refrigerate overnight
- grill
Now that I am thinking about it, this would probably be great with lamb too.
